Editing Blog: The Grand Finale
After the main process of putting together the scenes for my group's commercial, we added some final touches. Some scenes needed touching up such as cutting off unusual parts. We also needed to speed up/slow down certain scenes. Madelyn and I went to help another friend to help her finish her commercial. We went out to the track field since she was filming a commercial on Nike. Meanwhile, Kennedy stayed back and added final touches to the commercial. When we came back, we all collectively went over the commercial and gave our suggestions on any more necessary edits. When I looked over it, I noticed that the overall length of the commercial was one second short of the required time. So, to fix this, I suggested that we make the second scene a little longer to fit the time frame. In the end, the overall length of the commercial ended up being 27 seconds long. We all listened to the song a couple of times to observe if it fit well with our content. The song chosen had no lyrics and was very energetic. Since we needed one that would keep the audience engaged, we chose this song to be used for the final product. After that, we went over the finishing touches. That is the completion of our commercial on Paper Mate pens.
