Another Group Blog

For my second project, I have decided to do it as a group with two of my friends: Madelyn C. and Kennedy N. They proved to be responsible partners on the previous project and so I have decided to work with them again. We all collectively agreed to work together and shared our contact information to keep in touch after school. I chose to work with them because having already worked with Madelyn before, I can determine that she will keep up with the project. We all also tend to procrastinate from time to time, so this will help us keep each other in check or if we need any help understanding anything. Furthermore, this will be our second major project, and we are all beginners in film-making, so we're looking forward to the group learning experience.

After some discussion, I was able to learn that Kennedy excels at art. She was able to provide us with a drawing she made, and Madelyn and I both thought it looked very decent. I am also a fairly decent artist, so Kennedy and I will most likely do the storyboard while all three of us work on everything else. I considered being the cameraman and editor since I have had some sort of experience in the past. However, we may all need to work together on the editing so we get more perspectives on how it should be.

For our music, we decided on a list of choices that will be written down by Kennedy. As for acting, Madelyn and Kennedy chose to act and it is yet to be decided if any more people are going to act. In case we decide to show faces, Madelyn and Kennedy have decided that they want to be actors. For this to work, I will be the cameraperson and will use the same phone for filming to avoid differences in scene quality.

Both Kennedy and Madelyn seem like good partners to work with, so I have high hopes for the results of this project. Depending on the actual task, we may alter the workload for each person to make it more manageable as this is our second project, but after having a thorough discussion when we meet up, this will hopefully turn out well. Meeting up might be difficult because it won't be held on campus, but everything else is set for us to start planning and discussing. For clothing, we usually don't wear any school-related items besides our IDs so that area is covered. Overall, this seems like a promising group that will be efficient in completing this project.
