Change of Plans

My group and I were supposed to film today at the Oakland Park Library today. But I ran into difficulties and after delayed communications, my group members did as well. When trying to reach out to my group members, there was a large storm with heavy winds near the area I lived in. It wasn't a problem at first, but then a few minutes into the storm, my power flickered out. This prevented further research for the film and contacting my group members.

Due to weather problems and lack of communication, my group and I weren't able to meet up today to film. Regardless, none of the filming could have been done because it started raining as well. Since the majority of the filming would happen outside, there was no progress made. To make up for lost time, I continued to work on the music that would possibly be used for the final task. I say 'possible' because one of my group members is researching royalty free music to see if it can be used for our project.

I was able to work on the music offline, so even when the power flickered out, my progress would be saved. To have it be extended, I added more loops to add to the moods that would appear later on in the opening sequence. I used the automation tool to give it a more panning sound. This would allow for the audience to hear it as if the music was coming from different directions. The use of panning automation also provided dramatic effect during the more intense scenes.

Even now, the weather is showing signs of raining, so it is highly probable that my group and I will not be able to film immediately. There also some restrictions with dates regarding filming because I have certain days in which I will be busy. The same situations also applies to my group members, unfortunately. One will only be available on Mondays and the other will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Hopefully, the change in plans don't hold my group and I back too much.
